The kopitiam is where Malaysia slows down. It’s kaya toast and a hot cup of kopi before work, weekend breakfasts that stretch into lunch, and conversations that never seem to run out. That familiar feeling is where this collaboration began.

Oriental Kopi opened its first kopitiam in Johor in 2020 and has since grown into one of the country’s best-loved kopitiam names, with outlets across Malaysia and Singapore. Bringing our two worlds together felt natural: the flavours we grew up with, on a bag made for everyday life.

Every inch of the print is illustrated in a hand-drawn etching style, in a single shade of deep green. Look closer and you’ll find the landmarks we know by heart: the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, Merdeka 118 and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, with an Oriental Kopi shopfront right at home among them.

Bunga raya bloom along the borders, and a freshly brewed cup of kopi sits front and centre, surrounded by coffee beans. One side carries the Christy Ng name, the other Oriental Kopi’s, so you can wear it whichever way you like.

Crafted from canvas and lined with a water-resistant coating, the tote is as practical as it is pretty. Reinforced edges keep it sturdy, a magnetic button keeps everything secure, and the roomy compartment fits your daily essentials, a market haul or a takeaway kopi run.
